Frances Stuchlik is surrounded by guardian angels at her rural Lost Springs home. They may not be real, but they provide a certain sense of comfort and security.
Frances has been collecting angel figurines for many years. Some are seraphim, some are collectables, and others are "just plain angels."
The 84-year-old woman doesn't know how many she has altogether, but they can be found in almost every room in the house. They range from thimble-size to 16 inches tall.
Many of the cherubs are holiday gifts to her from her 14 children and their families. In addition, whenever she travels somewhere, she looks for an angelic keepsake from the area.
"I'm always finding more, but I'm running out of room," she said.
She also collects salt and pepper shakers and dolls.
