Christmas On Us! begins
A holiday season promotion will begin today, Wednesday, in Marion when "Christmas On Us!" is repeated from former years.
Monetary gift certificates will be given away, including a grand prize of $1,000. Other prizes will be awarded each week prior to Christmas. The grand prize drawing will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 21 at Marion City Building.
Winners will be able to spend their awards in the businesses of sponsoring merchants.
Each time a person makes a qualified purchase in any participating business, a ticket is given which will be eligible for the drawing for one of the cash prizes.
