Christopher Schmidt
Christopher A. "Chris" Schmidt Sr., 52, of Wichita, died July 28, 2005.
He was born and raised in Hillsboro and was a retired printer for KG&E.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Moore; sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include a son, Christopher Schmidt Jr., of Wichita; three daughters, Danielle Schmidt and Andrea Schmidt of Philadelphia, Pa., and Patricia Norwood of Lewisville, Texas; two brothers, Patrick Schmidt of Kansas City, Mo., and Samuel Schmidt of Wichita; two sisters, Mary Jean Wegner of Denver, Colo., and Margaret Elliott of Wichita; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, Wichita.
A memorial fund has been established with the International Scoliosis Treatment Center.
