CHS has new office staff
Dawn Luna and Debra Sweet are new secretaries at Centre High School.
Luna, the former Dawn Rogers, is native to the area and graduated from Centre High School.
Prior to this job, she worked three years as a special education paraprofessional at CHS.
Luna and her husband George live in rural Lincolnville and have three children: Megan, 19, a student at Emporia State University; Kyle, 17, a senior at CHS; and Alyssa, 13, an eighth grader.
George is employed by Kansas Department of Transportation.
Sweet and her husband, Brian, recently moved to Herington from Stockton. He is an instructor in the Herington school district.
Sweet has been involved in several school systems for eight years, serving as classroom aid and secretary. She works as receptionist and enrollment clerk and also is QPA (Quality Performance Accreditation) secretary.
The Sweets have four-year-old twins, Chandler and Abby.
