CHS homecoming is Friday

This week is Spirit Week at Centre High School, leading up to the coronation of a king and queen during Friday's fall homecoming festivities. King candidates are Aaron Bowman, son of Sam and Dena Bowman, Lincolnville; Michael Kaiser, son of David and Dawn Kaiser, Lincolnville; and Tye Remy, son of Tom and Lynley Remy, Lost Springs.
Queen candidates are Samantha Alvarez, daughter of Becky Alvarez of Lincolnville and the late Sam Alvarez; Kylie Burhoop, daughter of Enno and Yvonne Burhoop, Herington; and Amy Hajek, daughter of John and Carla Hajek, Tampa.
The homecoming royalty will be announced and crowned at 6:30 p.m. at Cougar Field, prior to the 7 p.m. game against Claflin. A dance will follow the game and will feature DJ Complete Music, Manhattan.
Olympics
The public is invited to the Student Council Olympics to be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school gymnasium.
Classes will be competing in various activities, providing a spirited evening of entertainment.
