CJHS football team is undefeated in league play

After a 36-16 win Thursday in an away game with White City, Centre Junior High football team remains undefeated in league play. They have an over-all record of 3-1.

Phillip Griffith once again led scoring with four of the five Centre touchdowns. He rushed for 240 of the total 280 yards gained by Centre on the ground. He also was leading tackler with seven solo and four assisted stops.

Dane Moore scored the first touchdown on a reception from Ben Krause in the first quarter.

Aaron Bowman contributed five unassisted and five assisted tackles.

Krause threw completed passes for three successful extra-point attempts, adding six points to the final score.
