CJHS varsity girls lose to White City

In a game played Thursday at White City, Centre Junior High girls were defeated, 24-14.

The girls' shooting was cold as they scored three points in each of the first two quarters, one in the third, and seven in the fourth.

Samantha Alvarez was leading scorer with six points. Other scorers were: Leann Pankratz, three; Nellie Hill, two; and Kylie Burhoop, Brooke Carlson, and Kristine Jirak, one each.

The B team fared better, defeating White City, 30-6. Kelsey Hatfield scored eight points, followed by Aurora Salamone with six. Alli Will, J. Jennings, and Amy Hajek added four each, and Kirsten Johnson and Danielle Tajchman added two each.

The C team won, 14-4.
