Clara Johnson
Clara Lee Johnson, 83, died Feb. 6, 2002, at LakePoint Nursing Center, El Dorado.
Born Jan. 28, 1919, at El Dorado, she was the daughter of Louis and Elsie (Burnham) Stebbins.
She spent all her life in El Dorado. A homemaker, she also worked as a nurse aide and in the snack bar at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Circles of the Church.
On Jan. 24, 1941, she married John H. Johnson at Eureka. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1991.
Others preceding her in death were her parents; a grandson, Aaron K. Johnson; three sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include four sons, Jonnie, Dennis, and Mark Johnson, all of El Dorado and Sam Johnson of Marion; a sister, Mildred Honn of El Dorado; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Burial was in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
A memorial has been established with El Dorado LakePoint Nursing Center.
