Clara Longhofer
Clara A. Longhofer, 79, of Herington, died June 29, 2005, at Valley View Professional Care Center, Junction City.
Born March 19, 1926, near Lincolnville, she was the daughter of Gottfried and Sadie Brunner.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Ervin, and Edwin Brunner; two sisters, Esther Kohlieber and Helen Alt; and her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Kastin of Manhattan; two sons, Ron Longhofer of Kansas City and David Longhofer of Edwardsville, Texas; two sisters, Bert Wendlandt and Bernice Everhart, both of Herington; brother, Floyd Brunner of Paris, Texas; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, with Pastor Alix Pridgen officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
A memorial fund was established with the church.
