Clarence Seibel
Clarence Seibel, 81, died Oct. 9, 2004, at Hillsboro.
Born Sept. 12, 1923, in Marion County, he was the son of Jacob and Anna (Wall) Seibel.
On Dec. 15, 1949, he married Mary Koslowsky at Hillsboro.
He was a farmer and member of First Mennonite Church of Fredonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Karissa Jost; and a brother, Ernest Seibel.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Hillsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Sue Seibel of Edwardsville, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor and Lowell Jost of Hillsboro; three brothers, Elmer Seibel of Newton, Homer Seibel of Arkansas City, and Wallace Seibel of Wichita; two sisters, Lucena Thiessen of Fredonia and Frances Quintana of Emporia; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Parkview MB Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Roy Keller officiating.
There will be a private family burial.
Memorial funds have been established with Hillsboro Long Term Care Unit, Parkview MB Church, or American Bible Society.
