Thanks to my husband, Glen, and our two daughters and their families, Norman and Myrna Schmidt of Inman and William and Kala Nickel of Hillsboro, for hosting an open house at our home for my 90th birthday. Thanks to everyone who came, for all the cards, telephone calls, and all other remembrances. Thanks to our grandchildren who were present helping host the occasion. Greetings to the only one not present, Lisa Graber, who was at home in Iowa with her husband, Tim Graber, and their first child and our first great-grandchild, Morgan Elizabeth, 22 days old. Altogether, it was a beautiful September day for a great memory.

The Fred Berns family would like to thank all for the many prayers and acts of kindness shown at the time of Beda Worthen, Lynn's mother's death. 2

There aren't enough words to thank those who showed much kindness to my husband and me during his months of declining health, the four days he was missing, and since his death. I deeply appreciate the sheriff and his deputies, others who helped search, and those who supported me with expressions of sympathy, gifts, practical help, and (last but not least) prayer. God bless you all.
