CLUB W: Writing classes send letters to Kansas troops

Marion High School creative writing classes are writing letters to fellow Kansans who are serving in the military and fighting overseas.
Students' letters include appreciation for the sacrifices the troops are making. Most students feel the soldiers are fighting for what they believe as well as helping the nation grow stronger.
Students were asked to put extra thought and effort in the letters and use the opportunity to let soldiers know how much they look up to them and what great heroes they are to the rest of the nation.
