Coleman, Hodson are students of the month

Christie Coleman and Paul Hodson have been named Marion High School students of the month for February.

Coleman has been active in youth court and peer mediation, as well as a member of Key Club, for three years. She has served as vice president of Future Educators of America, and has been a member of student council for two years. Coleman also has been involved with debate, band, choir, volleyball, cheerleading, and "A-team."

Outside of school Coleman is employed at both Carlsons' Grocery and Animal Health Center.

Coleman is the daughter of Chris and Charlotte Coleman of Marion. Her siblings include Natalie, Brandon, Madison, and Addie.

Hodson has been an active participant in band and MHS musicals for four years. He has been a two-year member of the debate team, and a member of National Honor Society and choir.

As part of his efforts to attain Eagle Scout status with the Boy Scouts, Hodson developed and led a community service project at the Marion Airport, which involved new sidewalk construction and painting.

Hodson is the son of Don Hodson and Tonya Hodson of Marion. Hodson has two siblings, Kadon and Patrick.
