Cope, Nelson are MHS students of the month
Junior Danielle Cope and senior Casey Nelson have been selected as October Marion High School students of the month.
Danielle has been involved in numerous school activities and sports.
She currently is a member of the cross country team, and will participate in track again this spring after qualifying for state as a sophomore.
Danielle also is in the band, flag corps, NHS, and is a member of FFA and the yearbook staff.
Outside of school she attends Florence United Methodist Church, where she is a member of the youth group. She also is a member of 4-H.
Danielle lives at 2704 110th street in Florence with her two brothers, Adam and Jacob. She is the daughter of Clint and Sarah Cope.
Casey has been active in athletics competing on the football, wrestling, and track teams while at MHS.
His school activities include NHS, Key Club, and MHS Singers and choir. He also has participated in Big Brother/Big Sisters program for one year.
When not busy with school Casey is a part of PBC youth group.
Casey has four siblings, Cory and Cody Nelson, Erica Sparks, and Tyler Sams.
He is the son of Steve and Diane Sams and Terry and Sherry Nelson.
