Couple feted on 60th anniversary years ago
Francis D. "Doc" and Cladine Hartke of Herington celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past weekend with a family gathering at the home of their daughter and family, Cindy and Tom Schlesener, Ulysses.
The couple was honored Saturday evening with a dinner at The Landmark Supper Club followed by a celebration at the Schlesener home.
Joining in the festivities were granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Dr. Matthew Scott of Shattuck, Okla., granddaughter, Elizabeth and husband, Rodger Pister of Garden City, and great-grandson, Connor Scott.
Doc Hartke, formerly of Lincolnville, and Cladine Richmond, formerly of Marion, were married July 31, 1946, at Herington.
