Laurie Tajchman and Michael Johnson of Linn Valley announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Paul and Mary Jane Tajchman of Marion.
Her fiancé is the son of Warren and Kay Johnson of Independence, Mo.
Tajchman is a graduate of Marion High School and Emporia State University.
Johnson is a graduate of Raytown South High School and attended Devry University.
The couple plans to be married Oct. 15 at LaCygne.
