Delores Guthrie

Delores Jean (Razor) Guthrie, 70, Wichita, died March 19, 2003, from cancer.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at Westwood Presbyterian Church with burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita.

Born Aug. 14, 1932, at Marion, she graduated from Marion High School in 1950, and attended Wichita State University.

She had worked at Boeing and Lear Jet, also owned a retail store and a type setting business.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Daughters of the Nile, Westlink Suburbanites, and the Birthday Club.

She was married to Cecil L. Guthrie of Hutchinson in 1994. They enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, and square dancing. She also enjoyed many hobbies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Lola (Bredemeier) Razor.

Survivors include her husband; sister, Glenda Razor of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; daughters, Teresa (Mrs. Steve) Boyd, Wichita, and Sandra (Mrs. Mike) Hill, Rose Hill; sons, Michael Payne of Long Beach. Calif., and David Payne of Clementon, N.J.; nine grandchildren; step children; and cousins.

Memorials have been established in her name with Victory in the Valley and Westwood Presbyterian Church.
