Derek Michael Truman
Jarrod and Michelle Truman of Valley Center announce the birth of a son, Derek Michael Truman, born at 5:59 p.m. Feb. 17, 2006, at Via Christi-St. Joseph Campus, Wichita.
He weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.
He has a 2 1/2-year-old brother, Tyler James.
Grandparents are Gary and Vickie Hajek of Lost Springs, Peggy Wilson of Wichita, and Jet and Vicki Truman of Valley Center.
Great-grandparents are Ann Boese of Marion and the late Ezra Boese, Mildred Hajek of Lost Springs and the late Albert Hajek, Jim and Elizabeth Truman of Valley Center, Fred McHugh and the late Bonnie McHugh, and Ray and Pat King of Tyro, Ark.
