Doris Jones
Doris Dorothy Jones, 76, died May 5, 2003, at her home in Sacramento, Calif.
Born June 9, 1926, in Marion, she was the daughter of Godfrey and Rachel (Schick) Berg.
She attended Marion schools and graduated from Marion High School in 1944. She moved to California after graduation.
She married Leo Alcombright. One son, Keith Ray, was born. She was married to James Jones and the couple had a son, Roger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harold and Wilbur; a sister, Eleanor Allen; and son, Roger Jones.
Survivors include her son, Keith; grandson, Daniel Alcombright; granddaughter, Corey Barber; three great-grandsons, all of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Berg of Newton; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Fair Oaks Cemetery, Fair Oaks, Calif. Cards may be sent to the family at 4331 77th St., Sacramento CA 95820-3628.
