Drug bust occurs Saturday at Peabody

Marion County Sheriff's Office and Peabody Police Department obtained information that led them to request a search warrant for a residence at 907 N. Locust, Peabody.

The warrant was executed at approximately 7:59 a.m. Saturday by Marion County Sheriff Lee Becker, Undersheriff Randal Brazil, Sergeant Jeff Soyez, Deputy Aaron Waddell, Deputy Lonnie Hiebert, and Peabody Police Officer Bruce Burke.

According to Sheriff Becker, one pint of methamphetamine oil was confiscated along with four items used in the manufacture of meth including a gas generator, two containers of anhydrous ammonia, rock salt, and ether. Residual meth was found in several containers.

David Orcutt, 48, and Debbie Orcutt, 49, Peabody, were taken into custody. They are being held at Marion County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of anhydrous ammonia, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted manufacture of methamphetamine, and possession of precursor chemical.
