Duane Sondergard
Duane E. Sondergard, 78, retired after 40 years as an aircraft design engineer at Ratheon, died May 3, 2006.
Services were held Saturday morning at Christ Lutheran Church, Wichita. Burial was Saturday afternoon at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Dianne Sondergard of Herington and Rodney and Kimberly Sondergard of Bel Aire; daughter and son-in-law, Gwyneth and John Snow of Park City; brother, Alfred Sondergard of Ramona; five grandchildren, Marc, Geoffrey, and Kevan Snow, Matthew and Sarah Sondergard; great-granddaughter, Isabella Snow; three step-grandchildren, Jason, Keith, and Lisa Day; and four step-great-grandchildren, Shane, Shia, Wyatt, and Jacob Day.
Memorial funds have been established with Christ Lutheran Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
