E.Lucille Glynn

E. Lucille Glynn, 75, of Hutchinson, died July 2, 2004, at Methodist Hospital, Houston, Texas.

Born April 12, 1929, at Middletown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ollie Peter and Eva Alta (Thomas) Lewis.

She was a 1947 graduate of Aline High School, Aline, Okla., and took nurses training in Cherokee, Okla.

On Oct. 30, 1948, she married Robert Glynn in Cherokee, Okla.

The couple lived in Cherokee, Alva, and Stillwater, Okla., before moving to Medicine Lodge and then Hutchinson in 1968.

She was the owner of Photo Art and a partner with Village Shoppe, Hutchinson. She was a volunteer at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was a member of Park Place Christian Church, Christian Women's Fellowship, Vignettes, Hutchinson Art Association, and Hutchinson Community College faculty wives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Virgil Lewis, and a sister, June Singree.

Survivors include her children, Mike and Betty Glynn of Naperville, Ill., Gina and Tom Kimbrel of Marion, Bobby Glynn of Hutchinson, Tim and Leah Cole of Liberty, Mo., and Jim Cole of Tacoma, Wash.; a sister, Betty Hood; two sisters-in-law, Ellinor Kaul and Ruby Lewis; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Park Place Christian Church with Pastor Kim Biery officiating.

Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery, Cherokee, Okla.

A memorial fund has been established with Park Place Christian Church.
