Easter Mass to be held at Pilsen church

Jimmy, Rosalie, and Wendy Rudolph were in Wichita Friday and Saturday.
Sylvia Bezdek, George and Patsy Waner, their houseguest Leo Waner of Waunakee, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Morgan, Sara and Kevin of Hutchinson called on me Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Lou Vinduska attended funeral services for Agnes Pecinovsky Wednesday afternoon at Holy Family Parish, Marion.
Margaret and Ed Vinduska drove to Overbrook Sunday where they enjoyed an early Easter dinner with Don, Carolyn, and Mike Meerian. Darlene, Nick, and Cecilia Nancarrow of Overland Park were additional dinner guests. Mike, along with other Tri-County Catholic Community students of Osage County, spent his spring break in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., helping work on the Habitat for Humanity Houses being built there.
Lloyd and Carole Sklenar and Dustin Stevens were Wednesday morning breakfast guests of Joe and Rozella Sklenar. Darla and Kaylie Kasper and Kevin Searle of Newton were Sunday afternoon visitors at the Sklenar home.
Anna and Jordan Laurin of Marion were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tajchman and Jenna.
Marlene Goentzel took Daniel and Elizabeth to Wichita Friday where they enjoyed the movie "E.T."
Pat and Dean Bina attended the flea market Sunday at the Coliseum in Wichita. Janie and Gene Johnson of Augusta met them there. They enjoyed dinner together at Applebee's in Newton.
Kristen Steinborn of Marion and Averie Gengler of Salina spent the weekend with their grandparents, Joe and JoAnn Nowak.
Wes and Christy Hiebert of Newton spent Wednesday afternoon visiting with Maxine Svitak.
Ted Klenda, his daughter Mary Roemer, and her daughter Kathryn, all of Tulsa, visited from Thursday until Sunday afternoon with Emma Klenda.
Roger Dvorak and Nancy and Silvester Harrison of Killeen, Texas, came Tuesday and stayed until Friday visiting with Magdalen Dvorak. Dave and Sue Dvorak of Andover joined Magdalen and her houseguests for lunch on Wednesday. Magdalen and her houseguests drove to Newton Thursday and had lunch. Thursday evening supper guests were Don, Karen, Melanie, Matthew, and Kara Druse, Mitchell Neuwirth, and John and Carol Dvorak of Marion. Tom and Janell Dvorak of Newton, Marlene Clayton and Michael Vinduska of Ellinwood, and Maggie Vinduska and Mike and Carleen Dvorak of Emporia. Magdalen was among those who attended a birthday party Saturday at the home of Don and Karen Druse. They were celebrating the birthdays of Don Druse and a friend Kevin of Derby.
Paul and Alice Meysing enjoyed Sunday dinner at Butch's Diner in Tampa.
Amelia Vinduska accompanied Margaret Jirak to Mass in Marion Monday morning. They also visited with residents at Marion Manor. Amelia accompanied John Spachek to Mass in Tampa Thursday and to Marion on Friday. Ken and Bud Vinduska, Vernie Konecny, John Spachek, Arthur Stroda, and Judy and Kristen Steinborn called on Amelia during the week. Bud Vinduska joined Amelia for dinner Friday.
We are delighted to report that Mass will be in Pilsen Easter Sunday morning 10:30.
George and Kathleen Oborny took their grandchildren to their home in Salina and were supper guests of Steve and Jennie Blue.
Ann Malone, Mike, Theresa, and Melissa were visitors on Thursday at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Vinduska. Doug and Becky Vinduska and Mary and Steve McNeil and sons were guests on Friday. Amy and Tim Vogel brought breakfast Saturday and visited with the Vinduskas.
Tim Holub was a Thursday and Thursday overnight guest of his mother, Ruby Holub. Ruby hosted a Sunday dinner honoring Ben on his birthday. Guests included Robert and Irma Reznicek, Ralph and Betty Stroda of Herington, Frank, Vera, and Chip Holub of Halstead, and Mollie and Tamra Holub.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Konarik and Marie, who is a student at K-State, left Sunday for Knoxville, Tenn., and returned home Tuesday. They went especially to attend the funeral of Karen's grandmother, Eva Martin. Robert and Karen drove to Manhattan Thursday and visited their daughter, Marie.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Morgan, Sara and Kevin were Sunday supper and evening guests of Vernie and Gene Konecny. Vernie and Gene drove to McPherson Monday, on business.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Silhan hosted a pre-Easter dinner Sunday at their home. Their guests included Louis Hotze and Rose and Don Kramer of Wichita and Linda, Sarah, and Courtney Schimmel of Salina. The Silhan attended the Farm Show at the Expo-Center in Salina on Tuesday.
Gail and Marissa Makovec accompanied Simon and other Centre High School upperclassmen as sponsors on a trip to Washington, D.C., and New York City. They returned home Friday evening. Shaina and Sheila Makovec spent their spring break with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kukuk, other relatives, and friends in Perry, Okla. Gail and Marissa picked them up Saturday.
Teresa, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy Hill were in Wichita Tuesday and visited Exploration Place. Nellie was a guest on Wednesday of Julie Rziha. She spent the night with Julie and came home Thursday afternoon. Heath spent Wednesday at the home of Tyler Klenda. Nellie attended the Lincolnville Wide-Awake 4-H meeting Sunday afternoon at the home or Ruth Ann Carlson.
Jill Vinduska and Armando Terrin of Manhattan were overnight guests of Terry and Cindy Vinduska. Terry, Cindy, Jill, and Armando spent Thursday and Friday in Kansas City.
Jeremy and Kaitlin Loney of Wichita were my Thursday evening and Friday afternoon visitors. They were Thursday overnight guests of their grandparents, Charles and Rosalie Schmidtberger. The Schmidtbergers took them to Abilene Friday morning to visit the Eisenhower Museum. Jeremy, who is a junior Kapaun-Mount Carmel, had an assignment which included a visit to the museum. They returned to Wichita Friday evening.
Trent and Taylor Svitak were Wednesday and Wednesday overnight guests of their grandparents, George and Charlene Svitak. The boys enjoyed an early Easter egg hunt during the day. Charlene Svitak visited her mother, Lillian Krch in El Dorado Monday.
Leon Waner of Waunakee, Wis., came Saturday and will be visiting until Thursday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Waner, other family members, and friends. Julie, Rachel, Alex, and Nicole are enjoying spring break at the home of Andre and Mary Ann Fischback and children in Scranton, Pa. Julie and children plan to spend a couple of days sightseeing in New York City. George, Patsy, and Leo plan to meet Ann Buckendahl in Wichita Wednesday for lunch.
