Ecklunds to celebrate 50th anniversary years ago
Eugene and Jean Ecklund of rural Herington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. April 22 at Burdick United Methodist Church.
Gene Ecklund and Jean Anderson were married April 19, 1957, at the Christian church in Hope. He is a farmer and she is a homemaker and was employed at the Herington hospital.
The afternoon will be hosted by their children, Pam and Ed Spriggs and family of Broken Arrow, Okla., Debbie and Steve Kresky and family of McPherson, and Karen and Tim Biehler and family of Herington.
