Edmund Patry
Long time Marion County resident Edmund L. Patry, 94, died June 21, 2002, at Home Health Care Center in Wichita.
Born Sept. 12, 1908, at Colwich, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Eberle) Patry.
He married Mary Wegerer Feb. 14, 1939, she died in 1993.
A retired farmer, he lived at Hillsboro after retiring.
Survivors include sons, James of Wilson and Lawrence of Hutchinson; daughters, Margaret Barkman of Winton, Calif., Cecelia Sanchez of Salina, Betty Plante and Barbara Meirowsky of Wichita, Marian Lindshield of Lindsborg, and Annette Cutcher of Santa Rosa, Calif.; sister, Pauline Wegerer of Marion; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mark's Church of Holy Family Parish, Marion, with burial in Marion Cemetery.
The public may visit the family from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
A memorial fund has been established at Prairie Homestead in Wichita.
