Edwin Spangler
Edwin C. Spangler, 77, Burns, died Sept. 8, 2007, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.
Born July 24, 1930, at Kingman, he was the son of Eddie and Mary (Kemper) Spangler.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed at Boeing.
He was formerly married to Carol Blanck and Suzi Russell.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Spangler of Burns; three daughters, Debbie Johnson of Andover, Mary Myers of Burns, and Linda Robinson of Florence; brother, Bill Spangler of Burns; sister, Nancy Sprague of Newton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Burns United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Bush officiating.
Burial was in Burns Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
