Eighth grade boys get past Hoisington
Marion Middle School eighth grade boys' basketball team knocked of Hoisington Saturday by a score of 41-30.
Isaac Hett scored a team-high 11 points and Eric Vogel added 10 points.
The Wildcats used a full-court press to throw the Cardinals off their game and controlled the inside despite being smaller.
The seventh grade team fell to Hoisington, 46-9. Landon Leiker led the Wildcats scoring with four points.
The mixed team failed to score in the first quarter, but still held close before finally falling to the Cardinals, 17-13. Brady Hudson scored all but two points for MMS.
