Eleanor Griswold
Eleanor M. Griswold, 82, died Sept. 26, 2007, at Presbyterian Manor, Newton.
Born Sept. 2, 1925, at Kansas City, she was the daughter of William and Hazel (Tharp) Brown.
On June 2, 1950, she married Dale Griswold at Lawrence.
Survivors include her husband, Dale of Newton; son, Edwin Griswold of Newton; sister, Louine Herman of Kansas City; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Newton, with the Rev. James W. Anderson officiating.
Memorial funds have been established with Newton Presbyterian Manor or Harry Hynes Hospice.
