Elizabeth and Nate Meyer Gleason are wed
In an outdoor setting, Elizabeth E. Fetter and Nathaniel J. Meyer Gleason exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. May 17, 2003, at Windows on the Waterway, Hilton Head Plantation, Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The Rev. E. David DuBois of St. Andrew by the Sea United Methodist Church, Hilton Head, officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of C.W. and Nancy Fetter of Oshkosh, Wis., and Hilton Head, S.C. The groom is the son of Jill Werner of Chicago, Ill., and Eric Meyer of Champaign, Ill. He is the grandson of Joan and Bill Meyer of Marion.
Music was provided by a string quartet.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless, corset top gown of bridal satin featuring a full skirt with cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of mini cala lilies, white roses, and stephanotis.
Deborah Neff of Philadelphia, Pa., attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaime Blanda of New York, N.Y., and the groom's sisters Briana Gleason of Chicago, Ill., and Anne Gleason of Champaign, Ill. The attendants wore gowns designed with lavender skirts and white tops. Each carried a bouquet of roses, blue tweedia, hyacinths, and freesia.
The bride's nieces, Katie and Sarah Fetter of Fond du Lac, Wis., were flower girls.
Serving the groom as best man was Dennis Dougherty of Boston, Mass. Groomsmen were Chris Eng of Aiea, Hawaii, the groom's brother Nicholas Gleason of Macomb, Ill, and the bride's brothers, Robert Fetter of Ann Arbor, Mich., and William Fetter of Fon du Lac, Wis.
A reception, dinner, and dance followed in the restaurant at Windows on the Waterway.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Oshkosh West High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and mathematics from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa., in 1999 and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University in 2001. She is employed at ZS Associates, Princeton, N.J.
The groom graduated from University High School, Normal, Ill., in 1994. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass., in 1998 and a master's degree from Princeton University in 2000. He will receive his doctorate in chemical engineering from Princeton in September.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They are residing in Plainsboro, N.J.

The bride and groom hosted a beach party and luncheon for the wedding party and other guests at 12:30 p.m. May 16 at Captains Walk.
Reception dinner
Jill Werner and Eric Meyer, parents of the groom, were hosts at the rehearsal dinner at 7 p.m. May 16 at Leamington Recreation Center, Hilton Head.
Farewell brunch
The bride's parents hosted a farewell luncheon for remaining guests from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their home at Hilton Head.
