Ella Schuber
Ella Hamm Schuber, 101, died Aug. 28, 2003, in the long term care unit of Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Fredrick and Julianne (Ollek) Hamm, she was born Aug. 22, 1902, at Cherneriff, Russia.
She married Solomon Schuber on July 22, 1921, in Abilene. He died in 1959.
Survivors include two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Durham, where services were held today (Wednesday) with Pastor Curtis Wiens officiating. Burial was in Durham Park Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established at the church, Durham Senior Center, and Hillsboro Community Long Term Care Unit.
