Engagement: McAfee, Sangwin
The engagement and wedding plans of Kelly McAfee and Allen Sangwin, both of Manhattan, are announced this week by their parents.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Russell and Patricia McAfee of Council Grove and the granddaughter of Marge Domann of Winchester. She is a graduate of Jefferson County North High School, Winchester, and received a bachelor of science degree in rehabilitation services from Emporia State University. She currently is a personnel staffing specialist at Fort Riley.
Her fiancé is the son of Buck and Joyce Sangwin of White City and grandson of Marjorie Nienstedt of Antelope. He is a graduate of White City High School and received a bachelor of science degree in construction science and management form Kansas State University. He is an estimator for a mechanical contractor in Manhattan.
The wedding will be Oct. 5 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manhattan. A reception and dance will follow at the Wareham Opera House, Manhattan.
