Enrollment scheduled at Centre schools
Enrollment dates and times for Centre elementary, junior and senior high schools have been released by Lacy Wallace, registrar/counselor.
New students for K through fourth grade can enroll on Aug. 5 or 6.
Fifth and sixth grade students do not pre-enroll, but must call the school secretary to verify attendance.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, junior high (7th and 8th) students will enroll from 8 a.m. until noon. Seniors and juniors (12 and 11) students will enroll from 1 to 4 p.m.
On Friday, Aug. 2, freshmen and sophomores (9 and 10) will enroll from 8 a.m. until noon and "new students" in grades 5 through 8 will enroll from 1 to 4 p.m. while "new students" in grades 11 and 12 will enroll from 8 a.m. until noon and "new students" in grades 9 and 10 will enroll from 1 to 4 p.m.
Those who do not need to enroll are asked to call the secretary at the high school office to confirm that they will be attending Centre schools this coming year.
Those who have questions also are advised to call the office at 785-983-4321.
Students who are pre-enrolled are asked to double check schedules, as there may have been some course changes, Wallace said.
Seniors who need a particular course to graduate should check carefully, she said.
