Evelyn Farres
Evelyn D. Farres, 84, Latimer, died July 11, 2005, at Herington Municipal Hospital.
Born Aug. 5, 1920, at Herington, she was the daughter of Charles P. and Elsie E. (Kandt) Theel.
On Aug. 27, 1941, she married Dyas E. Farres at Latimer. He died Feb. 6, 2005.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome Theel; and her parents.
Survivors include a son, Dave Farres of White City; sister, Darlene Kuhn of Overland Park; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning at Zion Lutheran Church, Latimer, with Pastor Charles Scott officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A memorial fund was established with the church.
