Everett Strome
Everett E. Strome, 82, died Nov. 3, 2002, at the Lutheran Care Home in Herington.
He was born Nov. 19, 1919, near Abilene, the son of the late John C. and Elizabeth C. (Biehler) Strome.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Donahue Funeral Home chapel, Herington.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill cemetery with military honors.
Strome worked for Hamm's Quarry as a demolition specialist until he retired July 1, 1984.
Strome served in the Pacific and Burma during World War II.
Survivors include four brothers, Lewis Strome of Seal Beach, Calif., Clayton Strome of Herington, John Strome of Lost Springs, and Lyle Strome of Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Dickinson County Hospice has been designated for memorial contributions.
