Family dinner to mark Obornys 50th anniversary years ago
George and Kathleen Oborny of rural Marion will be guests of honor April 29 at a family dinner at Holy Family Parish, Pilsen, in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple was married April 14, 1956, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Tampa.
George is a farmer and Kathleen is a homemaker.
The couple has three daughters, Julie Klenda of Lincolnville, Jeannie Blue of Salina, and Jennifer Marshall of Blackwater, Mo., two sons, Dennis Oborny of Salina and David Oborny of Marion; and 14 grandchildren. The couple also has one son who is deceased.
