FCCLA elects officers
Marion High School chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) elected officers April 17 for the 2003-04 year.
Officers installed during a candlelight ceremony conducted by the retiring officers were LeNae Nelson, president; Tiffany Conner, vice president; Virginia Helzer, secretary; Katherine Pike, treasurer; and Amber Smith, public relations.
The officers will meet during the summer to plan fall activities.
FCCLA is a unique youth organization because its programs are planned and run by members. Participation in state and national programs, as well as chapter activities, helps members become leaders in their families, careers, and communities.
