First load of wheat looks good
The first load of wheat to come in to Marion elevators from of 2003 harvest arrived Monday at Cooperative Grain and Supply. The elevator accepted bout 2,000 bushels, a spokesman said.
The wheat was dry, with moisture testing between 12 and 13 percent. Test weight was 60 to 61 pounds per bushel. The quality of the wheat was good, according to the elevator employee.
