FLBA team is first in state

The parliamentary procedures team from the Centre High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America took first place in competition March 31 to April 2 at the state leadership conference in Topeka.

Members were Andrea Kleiber, Shaina Makovec, Andrea Carlson, and Amanda Kleiber. They will compete this summer at the national conference in Denver, Colo.

Others who attended the conference were Ashley Griffith, Krista Heiser, Brianne Stahlecker, Stacy Terwilliger, Jill Fenske, and sponsors Brett and Lisa Beye.

Fenske ran for office as District V vice president. She did not win, but the other girls enjoyed helping run her campaign booth. Everyone participated in testing in categories from business math to sales presentation.
