60th wedding anniversary
Cyrus and L.Dena Goertz will combine their 60th wedding anniversary celebration Sept. 28 with the Old Settler's Day celebration.
Friends and relatives are asked to stop by and greet them in Central Park during the afternoon festivities.
Cyrus and the former L.Dena Sampson were married Sept. 27, 1942 at the Evangelical Church in Marion.
Their children and grandchildren will host the occasion. They include Diana and Clint Jost of Burdick, Dave and Jessye Goertz of Beryn, Neb., Beth and Nick Weibert of Greeley, Colo., James Jost of Olsburg, John Jost of Manhattan, and Rachel Goertz of Beryn, Neb.
The couple requests that no gifts be presented.
