Greg Pierce
Gregory L. Pierce, 68, Belton, Mo., died Aug. 9, 2002.
Pierce was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Dickinson County. He graduated from Peabody High School in 1952. He attended University of Kansas for two years. After serving in the Army during the Korean war, he returned to graduate from Emporia State University. His career was in insurance and sales.
Survivors include daughters Cindy McCoy of St. Charles, Mo., and Julie Holliday of Olathe; grandchildren, Taylor McCoy and Jennifer Morgan; sister Janice Gradert of Newton.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held Aug. 17, 2002, at Hinton-Gibson Funeral Home, Raytown, Mo.
