Hanson, Strickland plan Colorado vows

Jennifer Hanson and Mike Strickland announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Parents of the couple are Margaret Pippin of Marion, Vic Hanson of Salina, and Carl and Cathy Strickland of Oswego.
The bride-to-be graduated from Marion High School and Emporia State University where she is completing a master's degree in music education. She is vocal music instructor at Timmerman Elementary School in Emporia.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Oswego High School and Emporia State University. He is a science instructor, head baseball coach, and assistant football coach at Emporia High School.
The couple plans to marry July 22 in Colorado. They will celebrate their marriage July 30 with a reception and dance at Emporia Country Club.
