Harold Byrams to celebrate 50th years ago
Harold and Georgene Byram of Haysville will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 25 with a reception, dinner, and dance at St. Cecilia Parish Hall in Haysville.
Harold Byram and Georgene Tajchman were married in October 1953 at St. Mark's Church in Marion. The couple resides in Haysville. They have six children, 16 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Both Harold and Georgene worked for the Boeing Co. after getting married. Harold worked 26 years at the Kreonite Co., and is active in the St. Cecilia chapter of Knights of Columbus. Georgene was employed by Haysville USD 261 and is a member of the St. Cecilia Altar Society.
They both retired in 1996 and enjoy many activities and love to travel.
