Hattie Henke
Hattie Henke, 94, died March 1, 2002, at Kindred Hospital, Ontario, Calif.
Born Dec. 24, 1908, at Lost Springs, she was the daughter of William and Bertha Henke.
She moved to California in the 1970s following the death of her mother. She spent the past several years in convalescent homes and died due to complications following a broken hip.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Marcella and Grant Hedgpeth of Rancho Cucamonga; and two nephews, Don Hedgpeth and family of Sydney, Australia, and roger and Linda Hedgpeth and family of Folsom, Calif.
Funeral services were held March 6 at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif. Pastor M.H. Sager of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Rancho Cucamonga, where Henke was a member, officiated.
