Haunted barn, hayrack ride is Oct. 26-27 years ago
Ramona's sixth annual haunted barn and hayrack ride will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 26-27.
This is the largest haunted experience ever created in the Ramona area.
DL Concession will be at the pick-up and drop-off location, so come early and eat supper.
The only way to the haunted barn is to take the hayrack ride that will pick up riders at 100 Avenue and 370th. Another access location is at Rain Road and Sunflower Road. Expect to ride for 10-15 minutes, so dress warmly.
Admission is $3 for adults and youth 12 and older, $2 for children 6-11 years old, and children 5 and under are free. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Directions to the hayrack pick-up location are: from Ramona, go east on 360th to Sunflower, then north to 370th; from Herington, take 500th Avenue to Rain Road, then south to 100th Avenue; from Marion, U.S.-77 north to 360th, then west to Sunflower, then north to 370th.
The event is sponsored by the Ramona Park Improvement Committee; all proceeds go toward improving the city park at Ramona.
