Herzet promoted
Jared Herzet has been named assistant vice president of retail lending and payment systems (RLPS) at Commerce Bank, Kansas City.
Herzet has been employed at Commerce since December 2005.
He is a graduate of Marion High School and Benedictine College, Atchison, and is the son of Jim and Janet Herzet of Marion. He and his wife, Carrie, live in Shawnee.
Six named
to SC honor roll
Six Marion County students have been named to the dean's honor roll for the spring semester at Southwestern College, Winfield.
They are Megan Whitaker, Marion; Andrea Carlson and Natalie Carlson, Lincolnville; Kate Topham, Peabody; Scott Nuss, Hillsboro; and Katherine Baltzer, Lehigh.
Full-time students who earned grade point averages of at least 3.7 were eligible for the honor.
