Home game planned for OSD
Classes holding reunions on Old Settlers' Day may want to include a football game in their plans this year.
Marion High School will host Chase County at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 for a homecoming game. For many people, it will be the first time to see the renovated track.
This means there won't be a home game in 2003. All football assignments are for two-year, home-and-home contests. The Warriors will be at Chase County in 2003.
Occasionally, if there are five Fridays in September or new two-year contracts are assigned, there may be two home games on consecutive Old Settlers' Days. Otherwise, if there's a home game one year, there won't be the next.
