Ida Bean
Ida Mae Bean, 78, died Sept. 29, 2007, at her home at Frankfort.
Born July 28, 1929, she was the daughter of Samuel and Virgie (Labbe) Eby.
On April 30, 1947, she married Robert Clay Bean, Jr. He died in 1984.
She was a certified nurse's aide for 23 years.
Survivors include eight children, Robert Bean of Holton, Jacquelyn Berry and Patricia Igeleheart of Florence; Cheryl Berry of Sevrey, Ronnie Bean of Pratt, Donald Bean of Newton, Tammy Jones of Frankfort, and David Bean of Brazil, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were this morning (Wednesday) at the First Congressional United Church of Christ, Centralia, with Deanna Lewis officiating.
Burial was in Centralia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ida Bean memorial fund. A specific charity will be named at a later date.
