In a nutshell
There's always the danger when writing editorials that readers will misunderstand the meaning of the message. That seems to be what happened with "Back to the drawing board" in the Jan. 9 issue.
For those of you who didn't "get it," here is the simplified meaning of the editorial:
Jami Williams resigned.
Don't waste time figuring out who to blame.
Let's move on.
What is the city going to do now?
If you have ideas, talk to your city council members.
In the future, I'll try to be more concise and succinct when writing editorials.
