James Rooker
James R. Rooker, 70, died Oct. 30, 2003, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center, Hillsboro.
Born Oct. 25, 1933, in Chillicothe, Ohio, he was the son of Robert Franklin and Martha Elizabeth (Hatcher) Rooker.
On June 22, 1956, he married Becky Milligan at Cambridge, Ohio.
He was a supervisor in the ice cream department at Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI).
Survivors include his wife, Becky of Hillsboro; two sons, Steve and Mark, both of Hillsboro; two daughters, Cheryl Ratzlaff of Hillsboro and Christine Rooker of McPherson; three brothers, Thomas, Glenn, and John Hatcher, all of Newconcord, Ohio; a sister, Sandra Kelman of Newconcord, Ohio; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gaylord Goertzen officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
