Janis Hein
Janis Hein, 63, died Sept. 18, 2002, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center, Hillsboro.
The wife of Marion County Commission chairman Robert Hein, she was a certified nurse aide.
She was born Feb. 23, 1939, at Strong City, daughter of the late Chester and Dorothy (Graham) Hatcher.
On Nov. 23, 1958, she was married to Bob Hein.
They had one son, Mike Hein of Topeka; two daughters, Diana Thomsen of Hartford and Brenda Moss of Hillsboro; she had one sister, RoseAnn Hatcher of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Hillsboro UM Church where services were held Monday morning with the Rev. R. Laney Kuhn officiating.
Burial was in Durham Park Cemetery.
